Drop-in meeting: Cell-based protein-alternative

We are getting close to the end of the summer. All the big events in Agro Food Park are finished for now, and now it is time to focus on a new autumn- and winter season of drop-in meetings. We start off with an interesting one; cell-based protein-alternatives.

Concepts and solutions in relation to future milk production are being debated, including production of milk components in cells. At the drop-in meeting researchers from Aarhus University will present current research topics – excretion of milk components from cultivated cow cells and precision fermentation in microorganisms. The meeting is based on a science synthesis about definitions, status and opportunities produced by researchers at Department of Food Science, Aarhus University.
